Hello, I am Alex Goodwin

I am a Software Engineer with about two decades of experience

"two decades" is counting from when I started doing programming as a kid. More like one decade if you only count as an adult professional getting paid about it and stuff.


I'm particularly focused on:

  • Low Level Optimization (general performance optimization, machine code, GPU shaders, ...)
  • Game development (especially engine and tooling)
  • Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence (especially improving education & accessibility of generative AI)
  • Education (about software development and related subjects)
  • User-First Software Design (personal rights, control, privacy, etc. as well as making software highly accessible to the average user)
