Great. I’ve been re-reading some old threads in the spirit of “pth files are evil”, so I wondered whether we could/should avoid them, but I think the criticism was directed against pth files edited after the initial installation, and pth files abusing the format (import causes exec), IOW setuptools’ pth files; our current ideas avoid these two problems. |
