Stack trace helper done for the case that the filenames and the function names are ascii. Pending the case we have latin1 and unicode characters. In the process I have learned more about the implementation details of PEP-393 that I would like to know :-). Code ready for general testing. I want to do same changes before asking for review. I know that 2.7 patch is not going to be integrated in mainline but would you consider reviewing it?. I would adopt the changes proposed, and integrate them also in 3.3 version, before the formal review. |
