The new code in after_cancel in the version of Tkinter.py that ships with 2.3b2: (script, type) = self.tk.splitlist( self.tk.call('after', 'info', id)) fails because the splitlist call returns something like ('after#53',) at least when linking against the Tcl and Tk 8.4 libraries that Fink installs under Mac OS X.
