By the way, Joshua if you wanted to edit the text of the PEP, it might be nice to point out that this replaces itertools.chain.from_iterable. I know you mention one use of itertools.chain, but I think this nicely replaces all uses of both: itertools.chain(a, b, c) is (*x for x in [a, b, c]) itertools.chain.from_iterable(it) is (*x for x in it) |
