Stephen (Zero), thanks for the clarification. FWIW I'm -1 on the ability to customize the prompts in the sidebar. It would complicate the implementation while reducing the straightforwardness and simplicity of IDLE. Also, anyone who really wants to customize them could just change the hard-coded values in the code in their own copy of IDLE. I don't think it's worth the effort to make it more easily configurable.
