Created by TimeHorse and last modified

This item proposes to make it possible to cancel or reverse the operation of a Regular Expression flag by including a negation within a corresponding In-Line flag. In other words, the Expression '(?-i)...' would evaluate ... in a case-sensitive fashion, even if the re.I flag was passed to the Regular Expression compiler. See also item 19. This item is based on the work from Issues 3835 and 433027.
