2025 was an exciting year for fans, and we were honored to support communities in the worlds they love returning to time and time again. From tournaments and prediction challenges to giveaways, creative contests, and Q&As, these events were all about giving fans new ways to participate, celebrate their favorite franchises, and connect with one another. Let's take a moment to revisit a few standout events that Fandom helped to supported for fans around the world.

Introducing Jay Sullivan as the new CEO of Fandom! A fan at heart, Jay’s focus is on Fandom’s next chapter: evolving from a place fans come to find knowledge into a place where fan communities actively engage with the things they love in deeper, more meaningful ways.

Fandom has launched a new and exclusive feature for Animal Crossing: New Horizons with the Game Companion — an interactive checklist tool that lets players track daily tasks and long-term collectibles directly on the wiki. Registered users can save progress across devices. You can expect more Game Companions to more communities in the future.

Fandom reflected on its LLM-assisted translation pilot after finding mixed results of the pilot. While some experiments showed promising engagement, the pilot in its current form is ending.

• Improving the Creation of New Wikis (click here to learn more)

Fandom has rolled out several new enhancements for creating new wikis! Changes for "Starter Wikis" include new visual elements, optimized descriptions, predefined formats when creating pages, utilities (including Table Progress Tracking and Interactive Maps) and making sure accessibility is a priority. With these changes, there's a special emphasis on beginners who need these resources the most.
