Doctor Poison is an enemy of Wonder Woman. The original was Princess Maru, a Nazi spy who specialized in poisoning her victims. Her successor was her granddaughter, a scientist who uses various toxins developed through bio-chemical experimentation. She has been a member of both the Secret Society of Super-Villains and Villainy, Inc.. In The New 52, she was initially introduced as a Russian scientist with a grudge against the U.S. government, before being changed to a Japanese Godwatch operative named Marina Maru in DC Rebirth.

Doctor Poison was created by William Moulton Marston and Harry G. Peter, first appearing in Sensation Comics #2 (1942).
