Jonathan Lane Kent is the second Superboy, a time traveling son of Superman and Lois Lane. Not to be confused with the later Jonathan Samuel Kent, Jon Lane Kent is tied to the origins of Superboy (Kon-El). In the not too distant future, Jon Lane Kent was ill, and Harvest created the clone Kon-El from genetic material of Superman and Lois to generate healthy tissue. He was the primary enforcer for N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and was briefly a member of the Teen Titans masquerading as Kon-El.
The universe altering Rebirth and Superman: Reborn reinstated Kon-El's original origin, which suggests Jon Lane Kent was removed from the timeline. Jon Lane Kent was created by Tom DeFalco and R.B. Silva, first appearing in Superboy (Volume 6) #19 (2013).
