Andiiskii

 

a mountain range in the northeastern part of the Greater Caucasus. It extends along the left bank of the Andiiskoe Koisu and is the watershed between the Andii-skoe Koisu basin and the rivers of the Sunzha basin and the lower Terek basin. The range is about 60 km long, with a height of up to 2,736 m. It is composed primarily of limestones of the Cretaceous period. There is a mountain meadow landscape on the summits, mountain forest landscape on the northern slopes, and brushwood meadow-steppe landscape on the southern slopes.
