Meget

 

an urban-type settlement in Irkutsk Raion, Irkutsk Oblast, RSFSR. Located 2 km from the Angara River. Meget has a railroad station 26 km northwest of Irkutsk. A lumber transshipping base and an industrial-type poultry farm are located there. Some of the inhabitants work in enterprises in Irkutsk. A division of the Irkutsk sovkhoz technicum is in Meget.
