Demon Killer (デーモンキラー, [missing rōmaji]?), also called Demon Slayer, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy XI[]

Demon Killer is a Killer job trait. It occasionally causes members of the Demon family attacking the player to freeze in terror, similar to Paralysis. It is obtained by Samurai at level 40.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius[]

Demon Killer is a passive ability learned by a variety of characters as well as Diabolos (2★) and Bahamut (3★), as well as is a passive on several pieces of equipment. It increases physical damage dealt demons by 50%, and has upgrades in the form of Demon Killer+ and the like.

Similar abilities[]

Devil Killer in Final Fantasy IX is essentially the same killer ability as Demon Killer, targeting the more otherworldly or supernatural-seeming enemies.
