Etymology[]
[view · edit · purge]A Grand Trine is a term in astrology. When two planets are 120° apart from each other, they form a Trine, and form a Grand Trine when those two planets each form another Trine with a third planet. By drawing lines to connect the planets directly, this forms an equilateral triangle. The uppercase Greek letter Delta (Δ) likewise has the form of an equilateral triangle.
