After the party is sent back in time, they follow King Horne into the Magic Laboratory and witness King Horne making a deal with Louhi for the ultimate Black Magic, Desolator. After finding out that King Horne made a deal with Louhi, the party goes to the Witch's Mansion to stop the deal and to get answers. After the party obtains the Lamp of Truth in the Witch's Mansion, the party returns to the Magic Laboratory and meet with King Horne.

Brandt and the others use the Lamp of Truth on him and reveal his true form as Satan. After the party defeats Satan, the parrot in Kuore's house arrives and reveals itself to be the real King Horne. King Horne rushes out of the Magic Laboratory to return to Queen Horne and his family.
