Shadowbringer (シャドウブリンガー, Shadouburingā?) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It an ability associated mainly with Cecil Harvey's Dark Knight appearance in his spin-off appearances.

Final Fantasy XIV[]
Shadowbringer is an ability for Dark Knights, added at level 90 in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker. It damages all enemies in a line in front of the Dark Knight, with reduced damage for each enemy hit after the first target. When a Dark Knight learns this skill, their Living Shadow will add it to their schedule of attacks, replacing a use of Flood of Shadow.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]
Shadowbringer is a ground HP attack for Cecil, learned at level 28. It requires 30 CP to equip (15 when mastered), 130 AP to master, has Melee High priority, and can induce Wall Rush. Cecil swings his sword to attack the opponent, then swings twice more and knocks them away. It has fast execution but very low range, increases Bravery damage while a Dark Knight by 9% and lowers Bravery damage while a Paladin by 9%, and cannot be equipped while Luminous Shard is equipped. Effect stacks if attack is equipped multiple times.

Shadowbringer is an ability learned by Paladin Cecil at level 71 (6★). It costs 42 MP and deals 10 hits of Dark physical attacks with magic damage with a modifier of 4.8x with SPR scaling to all enemies. It uses the Stardust Ray chaining family.
Shadowbringer is also the Limit Burst for Dark Knight Cecil. At max rarity and fully powered, it deals 1 hit of Dark physical damage with a modifier of 11.5x to all enemies at the cost of 20% HP to the caster.

Shadowbringer is the Ultimate for Berserker and its job upgrades, Destroyer and Vandarian.
