Creature Creator[]
Starting from Chapter 1, the player can recruit She-Goon as a party member with a Trap pod S in Guadosalam. She initially has Attack and Fire as her abilities. At levels 10 and 20, she can learn Fira and Firaga, respectively. These spells make her useful for taking out enemies that are weak to Fire early on, but one should be careful not to have her face enemies that are either resistant to, immune to, or even absorb Fire, such as the Flame Dragon boss in the Besaid Cave and Red Elementals in Mushroom Rock Road.
Fiend Tale[]
One notable "She-Goon", caught via the Creature Creator system in the International or HD Remaster versions, is named Pink who was the most popular of the female Goons. But when ignored in favor of younger female Goons, Pink quits the Leblanc Syndicate. A month later, Pink talks Purple the cross-dressing Fem-Goon and Orange the Ms. Goon into joining her on a triple date where they end up becoming part of a team of self-stylized superheroes.

Etymology[]
[view · edit · purge]Goon is a pejorative noun used to term lackeys and help of unsavory sorts, akin to thug or flunky. It derived from the word "gooney", which refers to something or someone silly, foolish, and awkward, and was popularized with the famous E.C. Segar comic serial Popeye, where goons were a race of giant barbaric brutes who served the villainous Sea Hag.
