The Spike Machine is an enemy in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-.
It has powerful attacks and is aggressive. Although Costly Punch will easily take it down, a combination of Flare and Assault Twister+ works well too. The player should prepared to dodge at all times, as Spike Machine's Gungnir attack will inflict exactly 10,000 damage, and at the point in the game they can be encountered at, the player cannot exceed 9,999 HP yet. Gungnir also ignores Vitality and Barrier, essentially making it a one-hit kill.
