Regional Council of Shafir (biblical reference to Micha 1,11) is situated NW to SW of Qiryat Gat . Est. 1950 with 7,000 inh. in 14 settlements of the religious Zionist movements. About its unofficial flag I couldn't get better information then "emblem on monochrome field" so I drew a basic design and I hope to get information on the colours in use in the future. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut HaPirsumim), YP 968, 25 October 1962.
