The Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX), branded as SOFEX JORDAN, is a biennial event located at the King Abdullah I Airbase in Marka, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It was founded in 1996 by His Majesty King Abdullah II. The specialized event is held under the patronage of King Abdullah II, the supervision of Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein and is supported by the Jordanian Armed Forces.

SOFEX is a four-day event that kicks off with a prominent full-day conference that includes a series of comprehensive and topical seminars delivered by top military officials from around the world, tackling a wide range of issues pertinent to current counter-terrorism and homeland security issues.

It is also a platform to present and demonstrate new and innovative equipment and technologies in order to deliver swift, decisive and effective solutions that will help international Special Operations and Homeland Security decision makers and armed forces maintain the security and safety in their countries, regions and around the world. It is also considered a vital gathering for exchanging views and experiences while strengthening relationships with armed forces, security agencies, governments and key businesses from around the world.
