Moscow, Vermont (U.S.)

Moscow is an rural neighborhood located within the town of Stowe.

The flag is a red field with a golden cog in the center. Above the cog is the initials of the Soviet Union (USSR) in the Russian language (CCCP). Under the cog is the community name with the Zip Code for the town of Stowe.

A Newspaper by the Concord Monitor says this about the flag:

"Every summer we have a group of Russian students (from Norwich University), and that get the flag and the pictures," DeCelle said, adding that on the fourth of July residents wave flags emblazoned with a hammer and the words "Moscow, Vt., 05662" during the parade.

The flag is still being used in the community, as seen here in a 2016 article about Fourth of July parades: https://happyvermont.com/2016/07/01/vermont-july-4th-celebrations/
