Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (U.S.)

I made it as 2:3 with ~2/3rds high seal; on the photo dark blue seems medium, and orange is yellow.

The seal of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection is incorporated in the local Clean Marina logo and flag.

A dark blue rim, itself bordered orange on the inside as well as on the outside, encloses a generic landscape consisting of sea (on the left; blue), land (on the right; orange) and sky (white). Above the sea is placed an orange sun and on the land grow two green trees, one of them deciduous. On the rim is placed the department's name: "CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT" (top) and "ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION" (bottom) in white, separated by orange dots.

The sun emits eighteen rays: this may not be significant, however the detail shows very well that the sea and land sections are traversed by horizontal lines. In the coloured version, these seem to be white on the sea and green on the land.
