Fix Console Error 'response' Undefined in New Process Creation by sanjacornelius · Pull Request #5751 · ProcessMaker/processmaker

This PR resolves a console error 'response' undefined that occurs when attempting to create a new process from the Designer > Processes page.

The issue was due to inconsistent handling of the returned response when storing the new process. The variable response was initially referencing the data object, but within the handling, the variable data was used instead of response, leading to the 'response' undefined error. The solution was to update the variable name from data back to response for consistency.

Solution

  • Updated the variable name from 'data' to 'response' to ensure consistent referencing.

How to Test

  1. Navigate to the Designer > Processes page.
  2. Attempt to create a new process.
  3. Confirm that no console error ('response' undefined) occurs during the new process creation.
