On my current install, I deleted the ~/timestore directory without for a minute considering that a crucial part of timestore is actually running out of the user's homedir (!!). The result is almost a day of lost data.

Interestingly, now I've decided to try damage limitation by creating PHPFIWA feeds and porting the data later, I discover that PHPFIWA isn't working (but PHPFINA is ok).

In neither case is this obvious from within emoncms, except that the visualisations are broken. It would be nice if the feeds interface at least revealed that the feeds aren't being saved to disk. At the moment it happily lies and tells me the last feed value looks good (presumably provided by redis).
