Again, errors appear to be either the new weirdness with loader or some other error with fonts unrelated to my work.

We should probably add a test for this.

+1 for the test. After that I think it's good to go. I don't think it has to be an image test.

@WeatherGod - do you mind rebasing, and we can merge this. I don't know if we have any tests for mplot3d yet, so I'm prepared to merge without a test at this point.
