Think the only other thing that comes to mind is something like "...--m-split-button--variation...`, since it's matching one fo the button variations. Pill works now since they are pill shaped, idk if variation is any better a name but would work better if we don't want to be tied to using a shape that may or may not change at some point.

It'd involve having to update any usage of m-split-button to something like m-split or m-split-toggle, but button-variation is another one instead of pill
