# Search Contents of Word Documents from the Terminal3
You'll need `ripgrep` and `pandoc` to get started. You can read more about ripgrep [here](https://github.com/BurntSushi/ripgrep) and pandoc [here](https://pandoc.org/MANUAL.html). I use both of these frequently and they're quite helpful.
