DBA
An initialism of "doing business as," referring to a person or company that operates under a name other than their registered or legal name. Primarily heard in US. It's believed that FlemCorp Inc., DBA Smile Town Industries in the country, made nearly $3 billion in profit last year alone. I know their company is Wordsmith, Inc., DBA Write Stuff Tutoring, so check for either name in our system. All bakeries DBA as some cutesy name, it seems.
