I think people take me seriously now when I say this has become the
vim/Emacs war as of late.

Just don't let me do something like this again for a VERY LONG TIME. Thanks
to the support of various people I will stick this out, but I am so close to
burn-out that sheer determination is about the only thing keeping me going
on this.
