I've changed the subject accordingly. As the PEP states, I'm not sure if changing the customary order of "arguments" in conditional expressions is good. Also, I assume the thing will be short-circuiting, and it's confusing to grasp that y in (y if x else z) will possibly never be evaluated. Reinhold -- Mail address is perfectly valid!
