I think it will > require a little massaging for the trunk. Does this work for you? Yes, I was able to compile pythoncore when I added bufferoverflowU.lib to the project. However, starting python.exe immediately crashes with an access violation, in sys_getwindowsversion, in the PyBuild_Value() call. Thomas
