Ok, I'm not optimistic about it. Sorry, I don't mean to start yet another endless thread, and will shut up again after this note. I'm no longer a regular python-dev contributor anyway; the fact is that I quite like the language as it is, and I'm a bit concerned about its evolution - in my humble opinion it seems to become each release a bit less accessible to beginners.
