It was targeted wrong. Note-to-self: Never post when angry about some $whatever. And as far as I understand PIL is not the problem, but the packaging/ setuptools. For the records: PIL is a great piece of software and I dont want to miss it. I hope in future we have a packaging-tool solving those problems. regards Jens
