    FWIW, the FreeBSD Python port maintainer, Kubilay Kocak, is active
    on #python-dev at freenode under the nick 'koobs'.  He has been working
    on the 3.3 port.  I'd recommend liaising with him in order to avoid
    duplicating any effort.
