Everyone on python-dev is at least interested in the process of moving Python forward. And Py2 is frozen, so there really is no reason to be on this list if you primarily care about Python2. There are an enormous number of people that use pyton to simply get work done, and many, many, of those are still using only 2, if only because of inertia.
