TBH, your choice of words is ambiguous -- are you interested in overhauling the facilities for testing *of* the standard library (i.e. the 'test' package), or the testing facilities *provided by* the standard library (i.e. the unittest module)? -- --Guido van Rossum (python.org/~guido)
