As Yury says, it should be framework agnostic, let's be careful to make that the case and not rely on helpers from asyncio, either deliberately or accidentally. If writing framework-agnostic versions is difficult, maybe that implies that some framework-agnostic helpers need to be moved out of asyncio? Paul
