I wonder whether you know what "expanded" form means, though. It means that the object itself is stored in local storage, rather than a reference to the object. Of course, it's obvious that location of storage has little to do with immutability of type (although it can take a lot of work to store certain mutable types in local storage). >gary -- -William "Billy" Tanksley
