I'd be thinking along the lines of: * your customer wants it * if you don't get it, they'll go elsewhere To add to this, * It's easier than perl to install * It's stable * It's being used in a variety of applications (pointer to python home page) * Other ISPs do offer it (scare tactics are your friend) You really shouldn't have to "convince" them, capitalism being the theory of govt de jour.
