But they aren't invisible, I see the delimiters all the time.

This discussion is getting nowhere. If you want delimiters, try LISP.
I've been polite up 'til now. I suggest you (tye4) wake up, grow up, 
get a life, et cetera. 

I suggest the rest of us ignore this ... ahem ... individual from now on.
At least I will.
