Problems with ExpectPy 1.8.3

I have applied the patch. However, the problem I'm
having to 'marry' ExpectPy with Python 2.0 is related
somehow to PyObject_GetAttr. Follows my configure output
and some sys info. Did anybody have simmilar problems ?
