Sorry! May be I shouldn't have asked this (knowing how python users are so
eager to help!)

Python v1.6. We are targeting mainly Win32, GTK and Motif (and generally all
Unix platforms). We are not bothered if we have to
have to select the python binary to include on our release (that we can do
easily). I just want to know whether we are allowed to put a python
interpreter on a CD and send it out to customers without getting sued!
