Is there a widget which is able to render html- or xml-tagged text. In
fact I don't need the full html functionality. It would suffice to
have colors, bold or font switches as well as links. Tables would be
an added convenience.

A search for 'tkinter & "html widget"' on deja did result in any
useful hits.
