Hi, i need to write a program to
1) grab incoming data stream from one of my serial/COM ports
2) parse the data to XML format and save it to several text files

Is it possible to be done in python, and which functions/libraries
should i look for? I am also implementing this in Java, but wuld like
to try out python for RAD. TIA.
