Well, at least having it in the standard library would be IMO a big advancement. As it stands now, one often tries to work around it to avoid generating an extra dependency for a project. Syntactic sugar is nice, but I could live with itpl('blah $foo $bar') instead of $'blah $foo $bar' Cheers, f
