i was reading through the announcement thinking 'hmmm, another
exciting new owner for python...?'  then i got towards the end of
the announcement and ?!?!?

then i thought, hmm, must be april fools day.
(please, please, please)

i've got a knot in my stomach. i can't tell if this is a terrific
april fools joke or just about the worst news i've heard in a long
time.
