Nothing, although the same is true for assembly language so that question isn't too useful in determining which language to use. Both languages have their strengths and here you'll obviously find many people who prefer Python over Perl. It's worth noting that it's far more common for a person to switch from Perl to Python than the other way around. Have fun, -Dave
