A glance at http://www.crossmyt.com/hc/gen/edw3chrt.html#edwch doesn't reveal many Saxons :( All those Harry's unto the breach etc etc were all Northmen. Some might argue that Richard III was English, but I doubt it, after all he claimed half of France etc etc. The Anglo Saxon Edward III was also called the confessor, but he was earlier around 1027? -- Robin Becker
