The closest we have is the Vaults of Parnassus
http://www.vex.net/parnassus/

The catalog-sig http://www.python.org/sigs/catalog-sig/ periodically
wakes up and discusses this, and then nothing happens.  We have at least
2 good working implementations now for which nothing is happening.
