What about a two-way transform allowing a nested indentation
expression of XML as well ? For a long time now, I had the
idea that much of XML logic can be captured with python-style
nesting, eg :

<FOO bar=parm1 baz=parm2> some data </FOO>

gives maybe

tag foo(bar=parm1,baz=parm2) :
	some data
